Pomona Lion's Club has installed 4 new
Houseshoe Courts in City Park

The public is encouraged to use them.

 

POMONA DAYS

 

            Pomona Days , sponsored by the Pomona Lions Club, will be Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7 at the city park.   The two day event will begin with hot dogs, hamburgers and Bingo on Friday from 4:00–7:00 pm.  

            Richter Church will sponsor their annual smorgasbord “Old Fashioned Country Breakfast” at the Pomona Community Building, 219 West “A” Street, Saturday morning from 7:00-10:30 am.

            The annual parade will be Saturday, at 5:00 pm. with the theme “The 50’s and 60’s.”   For information regarding the parade and all other events, please contact the following persons:

The Lion’s Club will furnish a collection box for used eye glasses.

Watch for posters at local businesses with specific date and time for all events including 5K Run, Carnival, Square Dancing and the Digital Child Identification Program.
